Sri Preston Kulkarni served over 14 years as a Foreign Service Officer in the U.S. State Department. He speaks Spanish, Russian, Chinese, Hindi, and Hebrew, and has served overseas tours in Taiwan, Russia, Iraq, Israel, and Jamaica. He has served in Washington DC in the Bureau of Public Affairs and the Bureau of International Information Programs, and was Campaign Director for the Ukraine Communications Task Force, countering Russian propaganda online. While at the State Department, Sri was Vice President of the South Asian American Employee Association

Sri received a Pearson Fellowship to work for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand (D-NY) as a foreign policy and defense advisor in the U.S. Senate. Sri has a Bachelor’s Degree in Linguistics and Russian from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master’s Degree in Public Administration from Harvard. While at Harvard, Sri was Vice President of Communications for the Harvard Kennedy School, and founded a bipartisan dialogue initiative called Breaking Bread. He is originally from Houston, Texas.
